Question 1: Did you ever have an “aha!” moment about your life/career and what did it do for you?

Oh, where do I even begin? My life is a series of “aha!” moments strung together. But if I had to pick one, it would be the moment I found out I was pregnant.   It was unexpected, but it completely changed my perspective on everything. It made me evaluate my relationships, habits, and the influences in my life. It was a wake-up call to be more intentional and aware. It also led me to make healthier choices, like giving up alcohol. Overall, it made me a better person and changed the trajectory of my life.

Question 2: How do I know when to invest in more business help?

Investing in business help is a personal decision. While there are many resources and courses out there, don’t underestimate your own ability to problem-solve and evaluate your business. Take the time to assess your offers, talk to your audience, and get feedback.   You can even give your offer to ideal customers for free and ask for their honest opinion! Use the resources available to you, like free guides and workbooks, to gain insights and make tweaks. Remember, the most successful entrepreneurs are resourceful and willing to dig deep.

Question 3: What are your top five tips for healing acne?

Ah, acne… a struggle I know all too well. Here are my top five tips for healing acne:
  1. Prioritize lifestyle: Stress and self-care play a significant role in skin health. Take time to relax, center yourself, and get enough sleep.
  2. Assess your nutrition: Look into your diet and consider incorporating foods like raw dairy, beef liver, and oysters for their skin-healing properties. Avoid estrogenic foods and seed oils.
  3. Consider supplementation: Magnesium supplements and topical sprays can support skin health. Look into products like First Honey and Active Skin Repair for natural remedies.
  4. Focus on detoxing: Castor oil packs on the liver and a raw carrot salad can aid in detoxification and improve skin health.
  5. Optimize skincare: Use non-pore-clogging products like Clear Stem Skincare and squalane oil. Follow experts like Healthy Skin Glows for more tips and advice.
Remember, everyone’s skin is different, so it’s essential to find what works best for you.

Question 4: How did you build your holistic medicine cabinet?

Building my holistic medicine cabinet was a result of extensive research and finding trusted brands.    Some of my staples include First Honey for skincare, Active Skin Repair for first aid, and Earthly Wellness for herbal remedies. These brands offer natural and effective products that align with our holistic approach to health. It’s all about finding what works for you and your family’s needs.

Question 5: Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I envision myself living a peaceful and intentional life. I see us on a farm, surrounded by nature, with a tribe of children running around. Our businesses will be thriving, allowing us to create and make a positive impact.   We’ll be traveling and exploring new places, but our home base will be our farm in Tennessee. Family will be at the center of everything, and we’ll be focused on creating lasting memories and enjoying the present moment.   And that’s a wrap on our Q&A episode! We hope you enjoyed getting to know Erika a little better. As always, thank you for being part of the Trust Issues fam.
