048: I’m Back! Life Update: Baby #2, New Business Ventures, and a Change For TIP…

Welcome BACK to the Trust Issues Podcast! After a brief hiatus, I feel like I’m finally home again, and I’ve missed connecting with all of you! Today, I have a lot to share, including some big life updates, changes to the podcast, and new business ventures that I’m diving into. So, let’s get started!

Baby #2 Is Here!

By the time you listen to this episode, Kyle and I will have baby number two: a boy we named Waylon! We found out just before Christmas, and it was such a magical time for us to celebrate this news with our loved ones.

I love being a boy mom and feel so blessed to raise the next generation of men. My firstborn, Dawson, just turned two, and this age is so much fun. He has such a vibrant personality, and I can’t wait to see him interact with his little brother. I truly believe they will be built-in best friends, just like Kyle and his brothers, who are still best friends to this day.

This pregnancy has been quite similar to my first, and I feel lucky to have had a relatively easy experience so far. At the time of this recording I’m currently at the halfway mark, 20 weeks along, but when you listen to this, my baby boy will be here! For any mamas out there with multiple kids, I’m sure you can relate to how the focus shifts from the first pregnancy to the second. It’s bittersweet, but I’m embracing this season of motherhood and all the joy it brings.

A Change for Trust Issues Podcast

Now, let’s talk about some changes happening with the Trust Issues Podcast. You may have noticed that Kyle isn’t here with me today, and I want to address that. Last year was a pivotal year for us, and it brought about a lot of changes. Kyle has decided to take a sabbatical from the podcast to focus on his personal goals, particularly in real estate.

He recently got his real estate license and is diving deep into building his real estate portfolio and business. I’m so proud of him for taking this step. It’s not easy to step away from something you’ve committed to, but he recognized that he needed to focus on his goals right now. This decision allows him to show up better as a husband, dad, and business owner.

While I’ll miss him on the show, I’m excited to take over the podcast for this season. I’ve always been passionate about this platform, and I’m committed to bringing you great content and interviews. Kyle will be back in 2025 to share what he’s learned during his time away, and I can’t wait for that!

Home Build Update

For those of you who have been following along, you know that we purchased a plot of land about 30 minutes outside of Nashville. We’ve been waiting for septic approval, which has been a frustrating process. The county we’re building in is known for being difficult with approvals and permits.

However, I’ve learned that there’s purpose in the waiting. I’ve had moments of frustration, especially as I see my energetic son playing in our tiny backyard. I long to give him the space to run and explore. But I’ve come to realize that this waiting period is preparing us for what’s to come. Sometimes, we need to be patient and trust that things will unfold in their own time.

New Business Ventures

Now, let’s dive into some exciting new business ventures I’m pursuing. Last year, I joined a mastermind that opened my eyes to new possibilities. I’ve been an entrepreneur for a long time, but I felt a strong pull to invest in myself and explore what else is out there.

This summer, I started creating digital products and mentoring outside of the direct sales world. I’ve been able to help so many people build their platforms and businesses, and it’s been incredibly rewarding. In just eight months, I generated $80,000 in revenue from low-ticket offers, serving over 900 students. It’s been a whirlwind, and I’m excited to scale this business even further in 2024.

I’m also launching a group coaching program to help others turn their ideas into successful businesses. I want to empower women to step into their authority and create significant income from their skills and expertise.

Sein: Our New Wellness Brand

Finally, I want to share a project that has been brewing for nearly a decade: a wellness brand! Kyle and I have always dreamed of creating a consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand focused on health and wellness. We’ve recently started formulating our first products, and I can’t wait to share more about this journey with you.

Follow Sein on Instagram here to be the first to know when we launch!

Our mission is to make nutrition more accessible for everyone. We’re committed to transparency and helping people understand where their food comes from. I believe that this brand will not only reflect our values but also provide real solutions for those seeking better health.
