Nursery Reveal

As soon as we found out we were pregnant; I started planning the nursery. Because we weren’t finding out the gender, I knew I wanted to design a gender-neutral space that was modern and stylish. And when Dawson’s furniture arrived, I was thrilled! Everything was perfect!

I spent hours planning everything until it felt just right. Although Dawson is still in our room, I love that he has a space just for him!

Ok, let’s dive in!

The furniture:

There were so many shipping delays, and we almost didn’t have furniture by the time Dawson came. It finally came in right before he was born, and it was worth the wait! His bigger furniture pieces were from Crate & Barrel, and each piece has unique qualities! The Crib; is beautiful, and its arches add the perfect modern touch! It was exactly what I had envisioned for our nursery.

The Cream Glider we picked couldn’t be more perfect! It’s so comfortable, and its the ideal spot to feed, rock, and snuggle Dawson. The fabric is incredibly soft and perfectly matches our gender-neutral aesthetic. I love that the base goes so well in the crib. We bought the matching Cream Ottoman: and it’s wonderful because it has storage! I loved that it has a playful stacked look and has space to keep extra blankets and toys! When working with a small space, the extra storage comes in handy. For his bassinet, I chose this Malaika Bassinet. The convenience of being able to move the basket around the house has been so helpful!

The Decor:

We got this beautiful cloud art from Target. It is stunning and provides just enough color while giving a calm vibe at the same time. I also found this piece of art from Target. The neutral colors went perfectly with our theme! I didn’t need a lot of decor because we were combining our guestroom with his nursery.

The Flooring:

The room’s aesthetic is very neutral, so this rug was perfect! I layered it with this Sheepskin rug. The combo looks fantastic! The last piece I bought was this playmat; I love that it has a soft, firm surface for Dawson to practice his milestones!

As this room has come together, it has me daydreaming about the day we are in our new house. I have SO many ideas! I started pinning tons of great things. Follow me on Pinterest for more inspo!
